Shared Notes for Couples
Build a shared knowledge base with your partner. Conversations, notes, and documents — all in one private place you both can access.
More Than Just Notes
Couples share information constantly — conversations about plans, forwarded emails, photos of receipts, links to articles. But it all ends up scattered across text messages, email threads, and different apps.
Organism brings it together. Your shared space captures conversations, stores emailed documents, and makes everything searchable. It's less like a notes app and more like a shared brain.
Three Ways to Add to Your Shared Notes
1. Record a conversation
Press record during an important discussion. Organism transcribes it in real time, cleans it up with AI (removing filler words, fixing grammar, adding paragraphs), and saves the transcript to your shared space. Both partners can access it anytime.
2. Email things in
Forward any email to your shared space — booking confirmations, recipes, school newsletters, insurance documents. They become part of your shared knowledge base and are searchable by keyword.
3. AI-extracted insights
After recording a conversation, Organism's AI can extract action items, key decisions, and a summary. These are saved alongside the full transcript so you can quickly see what was decided without re-reading the whole conversation.
What Couples Keep in Their Shared Space
- Decision records — "We decided to go with the blue paint" or "We agreed to save $500/month starting in April"
- Travel plans — Flight confirmations, hotel bookings, itineraries, restaurant recommendations
- Home management — Contractor quotes, warranty info, maintenance schedules, appliance manuals
- Medical info — Doctor visit summaries, medication lists, insurance details
- Recipes and meal planning — Forwarded recipes, grocery preferences, dietary notes
- Financial notes — Budget discussions, account details, subscription tracking
Private and Secure
Your shared space is visible only to you and your partner. We use Row Level Security on our database — access control is enforced at the database level, not just in the application code. Audio never leaves your browser, and all data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do notes get into the shared space?
Three ways: record a conversation and the transcript is saved automatically, email documents or notes to your shared inbox, or create notes directly in the app.
Can I search through our shared notes?
Yes. All transcripts, documents, and emails in your shared space are searchable. Find any conversation or document by keyword.
What kinds of things can we save?
Conversation transcripts, emailed documents (receipts, confirmations, itineraries, recipes), and notes. Anything text-based that you want both partners to have access to.
Is it private?
Your shared space is visible only to you and your invited partner. We use Row Level Security on our database, which means access control is enforced at the database level. No one else can see your data.
What if one of us deletes something?
Both partners have equal access to the shared space. Either partner can add or remove content. We recommend communicating before deleting shared items.
