1. Service Description
Organism is an early access waitlist for a personal productivity tool currently under development. The product is not yet available. By visiting this site, you may join the waitlist to receive updates and early access invitations when the product launches.
2. Conversation Recorder Tool
Our conversation recorder tool allows you to record, transcribe, edit, and summarize conversations directly in your browser. By using the recorder, you acknowledge the following:
- Audio is captured in your browser and sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. Audio is not stored on our servers and is only retained temporarily in your browser's memory until you close or refresh the page.
- Transcript text is processed by OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini) for cleanup and optional summarization. We do not store transcripts on our servers.
- You may edit your transcript inline before copying, downloading, or emailing it. Edits happen locally and are not stored on our servers.
- You may download your audio recording as a file. This is a client-side operation — the audio is never uploaded to our servers.
- The tool is provided as-is. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, environmental conditions, and third-party API availability.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the consent of all participants before recording any conversation. Recording without consent may violate applicable laws.
3. Email Collection
We collect your email address when you voluntarily submit it through our signup form or "Send me a copy" feature. Your email is used to send your transcript, product updates, early access invitations, and a signup confirmation. You can unsubscribe from any email by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every message we send.
4. Cookies
We use two cookies to support A/B testing and improve the user experience. These cookies help us assign you to a consistent version of the landing page across visits. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies for ad networks, or any third-party marketing cookies.
5. Analytics
We track page views, button clicks, scroll depth, and time on page to understand how visitors interact with the landing page and to improve the experience. This data is collected in aggregate and is used solely for internal optimization purposes.
6. User-Generated Content
You may optionally provide feedback text after using the recorder. Feedback can be submitted with or without an email address. By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use it internally to inform product development and improve the service. Feedback may be reviewed by team members but will not be publicly attributed to you without your explicit consent.
7. No Warranties
This site and all associated services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding the product timeline, feature availability, or launch date. Participation in the waitlist does not guarantee access to the final product.
8. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
